Invisalign uses a set of nearly invisible, detachable aligners, which helps straighten teeth and manage overbite and under-bite. The clear aligners are made with 3D computer imaging technology that slowly guides the teeth to their proper alignment. Unlike metal braces, Invisalign doesn’t have any brackets or wires, which will help you avoid snagging on the gums or lips. During your initial consultation, we will help determine if Invisalign is the right option for you. If you are a good candidate, we will create a treatment plan for your case that is based on the 3D scan of your teeth that helps us create customized aligners over your teeth. These aligners should be replaced every two weeks as your teeth position in place. Depending on the severity of your teeth misalignment, you will need to wear the aligners full time, except during eating or drinking, for 1 to 2 years.
